Hi everyone!
My name is Haley, and I am the school nurse for the 2025 - 2026 school year. I am so excited to get to take care of your children while at school and look forward to being able to help them have a healthy year! Nurse Gill is fantastic and has been teaching me everything she knows, but I thought I’d give some more background information on myself. I have almost nine years of experience in the pediatric healthcare world. I’ve worked in the inpatient hospital setting, and most recently, as a specialized pediatric gastroenterology nurse. All things tummy-related are my specialty. My husband and I have two labradoodles that we love adventuring with, but we are preparing for our biggest adventure yet where we will welcome our first child in early December of this year! I’ll be taking some time off, but your kids are lucky enough to have Nurse Gill by their side during my time away. In the meantime, feel free to call anytime with any questions or concerns you may have. If you would like to meet in person, please give me a call and we can set up a good time to do so. PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing medication in for your child, it must come in the original container with their identifying information on it. I will also need the medication authorization form signed by the legal guardian and the prescribing physician. If these requirements are not met, medication can not be administered during the school day. Here is to a happy and healthy school year! Thanks, Nurse Haley |
